Where was I?
Oh, yes.
This esteemed publication (or blog, in the common vernacular) is my story.
My story as a wife, mama, woman, but most of all, as an imperfect child of God who is striving to become more like Him.
I'm just a woman who:
a. happens to laugh at the most inappropriate times. Funerals can be my undoing.
b. opens her mouth, just in time to stick her foot in it.
c. is girl to the core, and yet can swing a mean baseball bat and knows more about sports than many other girls. (cue clapping)
d. can take herself way too seriously, so one of my favorite qualities in others is their ability to make me laugh.
e. can predict movie plots correctly most of the time. I'm not much fun in a movie theater.
f. wants to be a librarian, nurse, ballroom dancer, professional baby rocker and/or an actress in our community theater when I grow up.
g. looks terrible with long hair.
h. thinks that half-off day at Goodwill is pretty close to heaven on earth.
i. who thinks our love story is the best ever! I absolutely adore my husband and actually tear up almost every day when I think about the amount I love and respect I have for him.
j. is a sucker for a good love letter or a chick flick that makes me cry happy tears.
But most of all, I'm a woman who knows that I am treasured and loved by my Lord and who desires to be used for His glory in the lives of others.
